Just when you think everything is ok

Yesterday I blogged about a little bit of everything, but today only one of those things matters.

I was waiting for what seemed like an eternity to blog about our family's latest excpectation: my brother-in-law's twin girls, due in November. Of course we were thrilled for them, they are both wonderful people and totally deserving. They were ready.

Just when I started thinking that its ok, that I can go ahead and blog about it, things go terribly wrong.

Last night the twins were still born. There was very little warning--in fact no one quite knows why it happened. My sister-in-law's pregnancy was an uneventful one and she was well into her 2nd trimester. She is ok physically, thank goodness. I wish I could help in some way, but unfortunately they are in Germany. I hope they can feel us hugging them from across the pond.

We will miss those babies and mourn their loss completely.
