Video of the Week--knitting backwards!

I have been wanting to try out knitting backwards for a long time, ever since I started knitting shawls. That purl row can be a real drag, especially when a) you don't dig purling but still have to do 500+ purl stitches and b)purling takes longer. When I first heard of knitting backwards I thought "why bother", but now I get how it could be useful. Oh, plus like most other knitterly things it isn't as hard as it sounds!

Without further ado, here is the Video of the Week!

Cool, huh?

Don't forget there is another Stickam Session tonight! I will be back in teh saddle after a 2-week hiatus (due to health, Thanksgiving). I am looking forward to seeing everybody again! Remember, it starts at 8:30, not 8:00. I might even be a smidge late, since I'm here alone with the kiddos.

See ya then!

I am just trying to figure it out. If I ever get enough yarn to make a shawl I think I would like to know this backwards knitting. ;)
